On May 20, ABC Academy successfully held a new session of its BP Workshop in preparation for the upcoming surge of British Parliamentary (BP) debate tournaments this summer.

The workshop was designed to support students with little or no prior experience in BP debate, helping them become familiar with the format and competition process. With their extensive knowledge and expertise, the instructors gave a detailed introduction to what BP debate is, the structure and flow of a debate, and effective strategies for preparation.

In addition to the lectures, students were invited to participate in a simulated BP debate during the workshop. This hands-on practice offered participants a deeper understanding of the competition and allowed them to put newly learned techniques into action.

Many students began the workshop feeling uncertain, but by the end, they were actively speaking, engaging enthusiastically, and showing great interest. The experience not only deepened their knowledge of BP debate but also gave them the confidence and courage to participate in future tournaments.
