Yesterday, in the Sir Winston Churchill Speech and Debate Tournament hosted by the University of Alberta Debate Society, our young debaters won the first and second place in the team and the first and second place in individual results. This event is traditionally one of the largest debate and speech events in Edmonton. Congratulations to our debaters and applaud all the contestants for their wonderful speeches.
